General Convention

The General Convention is the governing body of The Episcopal Church (TEC), which meets every three years. The Convention is a bicameral legislature made up of two houses, the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops. The work of the General Convention is carried out by deputies and bishops representing each of the dioceses in The Episcopal Church.

NAECED serves as an advocate for Christian formation and those engaged in formation ministries in the church. As part of that advocacy NAECED members will be a part of the Convention proceedings. To help inform our membership and others engaged in these ministries in the church this page will serve as one way to convey information.
